CAHDS — Certified Associate in Health Data Science
Entry credentialEligibility: An associate degree or current enrollment in a relevant program, or one year of relevant experience. Multiple pathways are available.
Format: 100 questions. Scaled score of 600 or higher to pass.
CHDS — Certified Health Data Scientist
The core credentialEligibility: A relevant degree plus two years of experience, or four years of experience without a degree. Other pathways are available.
Format: 150 questions. Scaled score of 600 or higher to pass.
FHDS — Fellow of ASHDS
The highest levelEligibility: Senior experience plus a portfolio submission and peer review. Typically held the CHDS for at least five years with demonstrated leadership and contribution.
Format: Portfolio submission and peer review. No written exam.
